PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the safety by preventing a sudden input of a backward gear, and to operate the whole body of a speed change operation device without a servo motor, by making it possible to transmit the movement of a vertical shift lever to connecting elements, to the first shift gate by a preselecting device. SOLUTION: Shift forks 24 to 26 are guided slidable along a preselection shaft 27. The slidings of the shift forks 24 to 26 are carried out by U-shape connecting elements 28 to 30. These connecting elements are connected to intermediate elements 31 to 33 by one element each. The intermediate elements 31 to 33 are guided slidable along a guide rod 34, and connected to a shift rotor 35. The shift rotor 35 consists of a shift shaft 36 and two rotor elements 37 and 38 practically. The shift shaft 36 is journalled to the casing of a transmission 1 at its end, and rotated steppingly by a well known stepping shift mechanism itself. |
