PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit photographing with very wrong exposure when a general purpose intermediate accessory is installed. SOLUTION: In a photometry sub-routine, first 'GETED' communication (S951) is performed to input various kinds of information for photometry from a lens. After it is discriminated whether open photometry is right or wrong (S952-S956), it is discriminated whether multi-split/spot photometry is possible or not (S957). If multi-split/spot photometry is impossible, luminance data is added and averaged according to each weighting to be taken as controlled luminance data (average photometry, S961). If multi-split/spot photometry is possible, it is discriminated whether a spot photometry mode is selected or not by a photometry mode select means not shown (S958). If it is in the spot photometry mode, the luminance data of the central part is taken as normal luminance data (spot photometry S960). |
