<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone communication terminal equipment and its communication method by which a speech opposite party of a caller understands it that the the speech opposite party is not available of making a speech because of a busy state when a call comes from the other in the case of making a speech from either of an exchange and a packet network. SOLUTION: This telephone communication terminal equipment 1 has an exchange interface section 11 that sends/receives a speech signal and a control signal with an exchange, a packet network interface conversion section 20 that sends/receives data with a packet network 3, and a voice signal packet conversion section 21 that converts packet data and the speech signal mutually, and in the case of making a speech through the packet network, it is informed to the exchange 4 by means of a control signal that the speech is made through the packet network, the exchange sets a state of the terminal equipment 1 during the speech, and entirely the same processing as that for the busy telephone terminal equipment is conducted for a call to the telephone terminal equipment 1 through the usual exchange.</p> |
