PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circular fluorescent luminaire which can be stably put without worrying about damage of an auxiliary light source in the case of being put on the floor. SOLUTION: This luminaire comprises a luminaire body 1 to be hung by an electric cord 7 and housing lighting circuit member in the inside, circular fluorescent lamps 2 to be installed in the lower side (in the upper side in the illustration) of the luminaire body 1, a main shade 3 to distribute light of the circular fluorescent lamps 2 downward, an auxiliary light source 4 installed to the upper face side of the luminaire body 1, and an auxiliary shade 5 installed in the upper face side of the outer circumference of the luminaire body 1 to distribute light of the auxiliary light source 4 upward. In this case, the auxiliary shade 5 is so formed as to be gradually widened toward the end side and the upper end circumferential rim 51 of the auxiliary shade 5 is positioned as to be at a higher position than the apex of the auxiliary light source 4. |
