INORGANIC METALLIC LAYER AND THIN FILM IMAGING-RECORDING CONSTITUTION WITH INCORPORATED OPTICAL INTERFERENCE STRUCTURE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a structure capable of giving visual contrast useful for proof reading and useful as a lithographic printing plate having hydrophilic property and durability. SOLUTION: This structure useful as a lithographic printing plate contains an inorg. metallic layer 12 having both hydrophilic property and practical durability even in the case of a very thin layer. The metallic layer 12 is ablated when it absorbs imaging radiation and direct imaging is facilitated without carrying out chemical development. The metallic layer 12 is also useful to form an optical interference structure 18 and this structure 18 develops a color and is ablated in response to an imaging pulse when it absorbs imaging radiation.
