The double-walled container, with a cover, has an inner section (1) within a larger outer section (2), and a hollow zone (5) between them. They come together at a common upper edge with a locking seating, and are joined together at the base. The curved lid (10) has an upper grip (11) with a take-off and extraction passage (13) through it. The under side of the cover has a plastics cladding (14) with a hollow zone between the cladding and lid. The lower section of the cover has a number of suction shafts (16) round the circumference, opening into the hollow zone between the cladding and lid. The edge of the lid may have an edge protection of an elastic and soft plastics. The hollow zone of the lid can be filled with an absorbent material to take up aromatics through the take-off shaft.
