An electric/magnetic sheet-steel segment for stator or rotor of an electric machine, in which insulation of adjacent sheet metal segments is carried out in order to avoid demagnetisation losses on the basis of AC magnetic fields. The electric/magnetic sheet-steel segment has at least zone-wise an insulating powder mould coating, and the coil winding conductors for the stator or rotor are specifically insulated to avoid demagnetisation losses with the conductors at least zone-wise provided with an insulating powder mould coating.
