摘要 The invention concerns a contactless system, in particular using capacitive means, for measuring pistons of all sizes. This fast and accurate system measures connecting rod borings (diameters of several sections, coaxiality of the axes of connecting rod borings, distances of said axes at the piston head), using a reference cylinder (30) immobile relative to the piston to which are related all the measurements carried out by a double sensor simultaneously measuring the boring and the reference cylinder. The measurements of distances along the direction of the connecting rod boring axes are carried out by the sensor (85) of the double sensor translation (84). The external diameters of the piston skirt and the grooves of the piston rings are measured by the sensors (91, 95, 93, 94, and 22). In a preferred embodiment the system uses 32 capacitive sensors to carry out the complete measurement of a piston in ten seconds only.
