FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in any device measuring and controlling temperature by direct action, for instance, in air conditioning and heating systems of rooms. Valve of proposed device has gate that has profile of longitudinal section expressed by function alpha= A+BH, where A,B are coefficients. Function is obtained by method of " regressive analysis ". This function connects two values: sine of angle equal to half-angle of gate profile - alpha and travel H of gate. Prediction of first value by given value of second one has linear character thanks to which high precision of keeping of specified value of ambient temperature is ensured.
