PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject therapeutic agent for alopecia, female hirsutism and seborrhea, a preventive for bone metastasis of prostatic cancer, having lowering action on dihydrotestosterone in the blood, by using a specific steroid- based compound as an active ingredient. SOLUTION: This therapeutic agent for alopecia, female hirsutism and seborrhea or a preventive for bone metastasis of prostatic cancer comprises a compound of formula III e.g. N-[1-methyl-l-(4-methoxyphenyl)ethyl]3-oxo-4- aza-5α-androst-1-ene-17β-carboxamide, etc.}, obtained by reacting 3-oxo-4-aza-5α- androst-1-ene-17β-carboxylic acid of formula I (Me is methyl) with an amine compound of formula II (R<1> and R<2> are H, a hydroxyl group or a lower alkoxy) [e.g. 1-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1-methylethylamine, etc.], in a solvent such as toluene in the presence of a condensation agent, its salt or its other derivative as active ingredient.
