PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To laminate thermal recording paper without impairing heat-recorded images. SOLUTION: Color thermal recording paper 1 and a lamliate sheet 11 are pressed against the transportation roller side and put into close contact with each other through the urgency of a pressing roller. Press-contacted color thermal recording paper 1 and laminate paper 11 are irradiated by UV rays as passing through a UV lamp 26. The UV rays pass intactly through a transparent sheet layer 12 of the laminate sheet 11 and are absorbed in an adhesive layer 13 thereunder. A UV ray curing adhesive forming the adhesive layer 13 is cured by an energy of UV rays and is completely cured and Integrated with an protection layer of the color thermosensitive paper 1 without creating an interstice therebetween. Upon adhesion of the color thermal recording paper 1 and laminate sheet 11, since any heat is not applied, a cyan thermosensitive coloring layer being not fixed by UV rays of the thermal recording paper 1 colors, thus causing no deterioration in recorded images. |
