PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range hood in which a collecting ratio of waste gas is improved by suppressing leakage of the gas from an opening at a lower end of the hood to an indoor side. SOLUTION: In the range hood comprising a blower 15 disposed in the hood 14 opened at a lower part and having both side plates 14b, a ceiling 14c and a front surface plate 14a inclined in a skirt shape and mounted at its rear surface on a wall surface 12, thereby sucking waste gas from the opening by using the blower 15 to exhaust it from an exhaust port 18 provided in communication with outside above the hood 14, a shielding plate 19 is extended from a lower end edge of the plate 14a toward inside. |
