METHOD EVALUATING DEFORMABILITY OF MATERIALS

FIELD: mechanical tests of materials. SUBSTANCE: method can be used for timely test of articles in the form of sheets, tubes, shells in shops. For evaluation of deformability of material under local pressing relation of plastic deformation of thickness of material at vertex of bulge formed by impact of striker with spherical butt to velocity of impact is assumed to be measure of deformability. EFFECT: widened application of method and decreased costs on its realization. 2 dwg
