A pallet storage rack consists of a steel frame with upright corner posts (20) by side beams (10) and two or more transverse cross-beams (11). The cross beams are essentially steel tubes of rectangular cross section, the L-shaped cut-outs at each end. The cut-outs (12) are inserted within matching cut-out recesses in the side beams (10).
