PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking temperature detecting device for a gas cooker capable of detecting temperature correctly without increasing costs. SOLUTION: A cooking temperature detecting device A for detecting temperature at a bottom face of a cooking appliance 2 by bringing an upper end thereof into elastic contact with the bottom face of the cooking appliance 2 such as a pan is inserted vertically in an approximately central part of an annular cooker burner 1. A temperature sensor 6 is embedded in a center of a heat accumulating member 4 provided on an upper end of the cooking temperature detecting member A and the top face of the heat accumulating member 4 abutted against the bottom of the cooking appliance 2 is formed as a protruding part 7 slightly raised at a center of the top face.
