<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closure implement that is appreciably handleable and capable of stopping water reliably as a closure implement for water sprinkling tubes. SOLUTION: This closure implement for attachment to a fluid-carrying flexible tube 4 with both ends open and for closure of the tube 4 at an arbitrary position comprises a pair of tube grippers 1a and 1b, a first connector 2 for interconnecting one-side ends of the grippers 1a and 1b releasably, and a second connector 3 for interconnecting the other ends of the grippers 1a and 1b. At least either of the tube grippers 1a and 1b has at its one end an engagement portion 14 protruding like an elliptic disk. The first connector 2 has a guide groove for guiding the engagement portion 14, and a gripping-force-varying groove for increasing nipping force as the engagement portion 14 moves forward along the guide groove.</p> |
