PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assemble a knob into a seat in a single operation by axially forming notched grooves in an insertion tip end of an external cylinder circumferential wall, projecting lock claws from the insertion tip end, and engaging the lock claws in the internal circumferential edge in a shaft hole, the moment the lock claws slidingly pass the shaft hole of the seat. SOLUTION: A square shaft hole 23 is formed in the central part of a shaft 22. An annular groove 24 is formed from an insertion tip end 25 to an engagement flange 21. A plurality of relatively short slit notched grooves 27 are formed in an external cylinder circumferential wall 26. Four lock claws 28 in total in press contact with the internal circumferential wall 16 of the shaft hole of a long seat 2 are projected from the outer circumferential wall face of the insertion tip of the external cylinder circumferential wall via the notched grooves 27. The lock claws 28 are provided adjacent to the notched grooves 27. A tapered face 28a is formed in the outer circumference of the lock claw 28. This constitution can assemble a knob into the seat in a single operation.
