PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain minute particles having a high monodispersibility, an excellent dynamic strength and an excellent solvent resistance, by polymerizing monomers wherein polymerizable monomers comprising allyl (meth)acrylate and benzyl methacrylate and a polymerization initiator are dissolved in an org. solvent which does not dissolve the generated polymer. SOLUTION: This method for preparing minute particles comprises polymerizing polymerizable monomers comprising a multifunctional monomer having two or more unsatd. double bonds in a molecule thereof in the presence of a polymerization initiator, wherein allyl (meth)acrylate is used as the multifunctional monomer, pref. at the concn. of 3-40 mol% based on the total monomer content, benzyl methacrylate is used, pref. at the concn. of 3-20 mol% on the same basis, and an org. solvent which dissolves the polymerizable monomers and a polymerization initiator but does not dissolves the generated polymer is used as the solvent. As a result, minute particles with a particle size on the order of micron meter can be obtd. without causing aggregation of the particles. These particles pref. have a dynamic strength of 250-1,000 kg/mm2 as a 10% K value.
