PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding storage case which is folded flat and stored when not in use, assembled into a bag or a box having both side plates and a bottom part of an appropriate width by expanding the folded case when in use for storing an article, formed of thick members such as a cardboard while it has been difficult to form with increased rigidity, formed into a special shape such as a truncated pyramid, and excellent in appearance. SOLUTION: This folding storage case comprises a pair of face and back side plates facing each other, a pair of right and left side plates of appropriate width to be joined with the face and back side plates, and a bottom plate. A returning piece which separates the right and left side plates from the bottom plate without joining, is erected from both ends on the side plate side of the bottom plate, brought into contact with an inner surface side of both side plates, covers a separation part of the side plates from the bottom plate and reinforces the case is arranged in a bendable manner, and a folding line is provided at the center of the side plates, the bottom plate and the returning piece.
