PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bumper guard for an automobile capable of easily guarding a corner part of a bumper of the automobile and preventing appearance from being deteriorated. SOLUTION: A guard body 10 is projected on the base part 2 to be stuck to a bumper 21 through a universal joint part 4. The guard body 10 is composed of a luminescent rod-shaped body 11 and a transparent or translucent cylindrical body 12 into which the rod-shaped body 11 is to be inserted. The guard body 10 is formed of an elastic material having cushion properties. Since the guard body 10 collides with a building instead of the bumper 21 when a driver fails to turn the steering wheel at the intersection, the bumper 21 is guarded by the guard body 10 and prevented from being damaged.
