PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier for a safety fence capable of moving a plurality of safety fences even for a long distance with little physical work load to a maintenance inspection workman and easily climbing over steps even if there is one en route. SOLUTION: This carrier for a safety fence has an elongated mounting block 2, moving wheels 3, 3A, 3B, and 3C provided on a bottom face of the mounting block 2, a holding means 5 and 5A erectly holding the plurality of safety fences 4 on the mounting block 2, and a lock mechanism 6 locking the moving wheels 3 and 3A. Locking by the locking mechanism 6 is released when the safety fences 4 are erectly held by the holding means 5 and 5A on the mounting block 2.
