The invention relates to a device for collecting cigarette butts placed inside a conventional rigid cigarette packet. According to the invention, said device comprises a flexible bag (1) and a rigid support insert (2). Said flexible bag (1) is glued to one surface of the rigid support insert (2). The device is independent of the cigarette packet (1) and the bag is substantially sealed.
