PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively decrease or prevent the deterioration of C/N of a wobble signal or an LPP signal due to the deviation between a parting line of a light receiving means for tracking and a detection beam. SOLUTION: The optical information recording device with which information is recorded by condensing light beams on the recording face of an optical information recording medium with an optical pickup device is provided with a controlling means 48 for keeping the quality of an information signal component, which is made by the aperiodic groove shape in the transverse direction of grooves of the optical information recording medium MD and read with the optical pickup device, in a prescribed level, and the position of an objective lens of the optical pickup device in the transverse direction of grooves is so controlled with a controller 48 that the amplitude of the information signal component made by the aperiodic groove shape becomes maximum.
