The device has a U shaped leaf spring (2) attached to a body frame of a head-rest. Discrete plane surfaces (10A-10C) are formed in a horizontal frame unit. The spring surrounds the frame unit such that the surfaces are in contact with the spring. A selected surface is placed in contact with the leaf spring during inclination of the body frame in one of the forward and backward direction.
