The electron emission device includes a cathode electrode including i) a first electrode, ii) a plurality of second electrodes, iii) at least one resistance layer adapted to electrically connect the first electrode and the plurality of second electrodes, and iv) a plurality of sub-electrodes. The plurality of sub-electrodes are adapted to electrically connect each other. At least one of the plurality of sub-electrodes contacts the resistance layer.
