<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To share each part at the time of reproducing media for the different types of a compression format by providing a data format converting part in a reproducing and recording device. SOLUTION: A data for a type 1 reading part 101 reads the contents of media for a type 1 based on an MPEG2-PS format by each sector unit. A data format converting part 102 works the data, and converts the data into a format recordable in media 20. A data for a type 2 recording part 103 records the data outputted from the data format converting part 102 in the media 20 for the type 2. A data for the type 2 reading part reads the data recorded in the media 20 for the type 2. A data for the type 1 analyzing part 105 edits the read data into a packet, and outputs it. A separating part 106 separates the packet. A compressed video/voice data extending part 107 extends it into an original video/voice signal. A voice outputting part 108 and a video outputting part 109 respectively convert each data into a configuration suited to a reproducing device 30, and output those data.</p> |
