A mobile communications terminal is disclosed which includes: (a) a resource manager having one or more sets of transform data, (b) an agent in communication with the resource manager, (c) a plurality of actors, where each actor is associated with a logical unit, and (d) an engine in communication with the actors and the resource manager, whereby the agent is arranged, in operation, to receive alterable entity updates, the resource manager is arranged in operation to replace an entity with an updated entity in response to a received alterable entity update, and in operation, a user interface for the mobile communications terminal is generated by the engine in accordance with logical unit data received for the actors and arranged in accordance with the transform data.
