A DMB device and a method for receiving broadcast signals using the same are provided to search DMBs sequentially according to frequency bands and reproduce each received broadcast signal according to a corresponding frequency band. An LNB(Low Noise Block converter) block(106) sequentially searches DMBs according to S band frequency band, a UHF frequency band and a VHF frequency band, down-converts corresponding broadcast signals according to the searched frequency bands, selectively switches them, and transfers the same. An RF block(108) frequency-converts the broadcast signals transferred from the LNB block(106) and transfers the same. A reproducing block, which includes a baseband block(110), an interleaving block(112), a decoding block(114) and a signal processing block(116), demodulates, interleaves, decodes and processes the broadcast signals transferred from the RF block(108). When there is a DMB reception request signal, a controller(104) provides a control signal for sequentially searching and selectively switching the frequency bands to the LNB block(106) and provides a control signal for performing frequency conversion, demodulating, interleaving, decoding and processing the broadcast signals to the RF block(108) and the reproducing block.
