A method for treating the pathological addiction to the volatile solvents in the children and the adolescents provides for the complex pharmacological and non-medicamentous therapy. In addition, Finlepsin is used at a dose of 50 mg twice a day (for children aged 6-12) since the first day of the withdrawal syndrome for 3-4 days followed by the gradual decrease of the dose to 50 mg daily. For the adolescents aged 13-16, the initial dose is 100 mg twice a day followed by the gradual decrease of the dose to 100 mg daily.
