METHOD FOR EARLY DIAGNOSIS OF CANCER AND ASSESSMENT OF STAGE

A method for the early diagnosis of cancer and assessment of the stage provides for the use of polarization interferometry of the blood plasma. The highly coherent beam of linearly and circularly polarized light at the wavelength of 0.6328 μm is used. The azimuth {} of the polarization of the background wave relative to the incidence plane of 0°, 90° is set with the aid of the linear polarizer. In each point of the photosensitive chamber, the corresponding intensity levels are measured for assessing the phase distribution in the image of blood plasma.
