METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF EMULSIFIED FUEL USING OIL-CONTAINING WATER

Disclosed is a method for producing an emulsified fuel by using an "oil-containing water", which comprises the following steps (1) to (3): (1) fully mixing an "oil-containing water" prepared by dissolving a combustible fuel in water at a concentration of 0.02 to 30% w/w with an emulsifying agent in an amount of 0.01 to 3% w/w; (2) pre-mixing the resulting mixture with 60 to 95% w/w of a conventional heavy oil or 75 to 98% w/w of a conventional diesel oil; and (3) further mixing and emulsifying the whole mixture, thereby producing an emulsified heavy oil containing the oil-containing water (abbreviated as "OWEH") or an emulsified diesel oil containing the oil-containing water (abbreviated as "OWED").
