PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamo-electric fan with intercession fan which allows for continuous operation of the dynamo-electric fan body in a limited speed range, even during failure of the intercession fan or a motor for driving the intercession fan.SOLUTION: In a constitution where a heat exchanger 12 for cooling the heat generated in a dynamo-electric machine body 11, having a rotor 15 and a stator 14, is attached thereto, an intercession fan 18 operated by a power source different from that of the dynamo-electric machine body 11 and supplying air to the heat exchanger 12 is provided therein, an outside fan 21 is provided on the rotor shaft 151 of a rotor 15 so as to supply cool air to the heat exchanger 12 by rotation of the rotor shaft, and during operation of the dynamo-electric machine body 11, an intercession fan controller 26 operates the intercession fan 18, stops the intercession fan 18 when the number of revolutions of the outside fan 21 goes above an expected stop setting value, and restarts the intercession fan 18 when goes below an expected restart setting value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
