To achieve proper lubrication, a bearing housing or reservoir is filled with a predetermined amount of lubricant. When the machine, of which a bearing is a component, is operated, a flexible flinger disc provides proper lubrication by disturbance of the lubricant. A textured and shaped flexible flinger disc, which comprises a disc that is flexible during installation, allows for submersion of the disc into an oil bath. When rotated, the flinger disc disturbs the lubricant within a housing in order to improve lubricant operational characteristics. |
