PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer conveyance device and the like that can suppress occurrence of transfer unevenness arising from fluctuations generating when a recording medium retained by an annular belt passes through a transfer unit opposing a photoreceptor of a transfer roll.SOLUTION: A transfer conveyance device comprises: an annular belt that has elasticity in a circulation direction; a transfer roll that presses an outer peripheral face of the annular belt against a photoreceptor which is rotatably driven; a plurality of support rolls that support the annular belt so as to circulate the same in a tensed state; and a tabular cleaning member that is brought into contact with the outer peripheral face of the annular belt to clean the outer peripheral face thereof. One of the support rolls is a drive roll that is arranged at a position on a belt circulation direction upstream side further than the transfer roll, and on a recording medium retention starting side, and other one of the support rolls is a removal side roll that is arranged at a position on a belt circulation downstream side further than the transfer roll and on a recording medium removal side. The cleaning member comes into contact with the outer peripheral face of the annular belt in an area from an intermediate position of a winding range with respect to the drive roll to an intermediate position of the winding range with respect to the removal side roll heading for the belt circulation direction upstream side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
