PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow payment with an arbitrary payment device even after the designation of a payment device for payment.SOLUTION: A POS system comprises: a commodity registration device for registering a commodity to be purchased; and a plurality of payment devices for making payment on the basis of data relating to transactions of commodities registered by the commodity registration device. The commodity registration device includes: designation means for designating a payment device for making payment for a transaction of a registered commodity; and transmission means for transmitting data relating to the transaction so that the payment can be made by the payment device designated by the designation means. The payment device includes: changing means for changing a payment device for making payment for the transaction designated by the designation means; and display means for selectably displaying a transaction to be paid by the present device. The changing means stops payment, by the present device, for the transaction selected by the display device, and designates another payment device to instruct the another payment device to make payment for the transaction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
