PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device capable of maintaining three optical states of reflection, transmission and diffusion.SOLUTION: An optical device 1 includes: a first translucent electrode 20 and a second translucent electrode 21 which are disposed being faced to each other; and an optical adjustment layer 30 formed between the first electrode 20 and the second electrode 21. The optical adjustment layer 30 has a first phase 31 including an electrolyte which contains a metal having visible light reflection characteristics; and a second phase 32 that includes a material having a refractive index variable in a visible light bandwidth and is dispersed in the first phase 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
