PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for adsorbing mixed gas in a luminous tube more effectively by means of a getter, without causing adhesion of the vaporized getter to the inner surface of a light-emitting part, and without generating abnormal discharge between a getter housing container and the internal lead of a starting auxiliary electrode extending in the luminous tube.SOLUTION: A getter container 20 is fixed to the core wire 7 of a main electrode in a first sealing tube 2. The getter container is an annular member having an annular recess opening on one end side, in which a metal of transpiration getter material is carried. The getter container is arranged while the opening is directed to the sealing end side of the first sealing tube, and a metal thin film 30 of transpiration getter material is deposited on the inner surface of the first sealing tube.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
