The present invention relates to a device and method for controlling supply of automatic transmission fluid, and the purpose of the present invention is to smoothly charge an accumulator with automatic transmission fluid when charging the automatic transmission fluid. The device for controlling supply of automatic transmission fluid comprises: an idle limiting part which stops and restarts an engine by manipulating a brake pedal and a change lever; and an oil pressure supply part which receives working fluid therein, and supplies the working fluid to an automatic transmission when restarting the engine. In regards to this, the oil pressure supply part includes: a solenoid valve operated in accordance with supply of currents; a pulse width modulation (PWM) control part which generates currents by a duty ratio of a PWM signal corresponding to a target current for operating the solenoid valve; and an accumulator which is opened and closed by operation of the solenoid valve to be charged with the working fluid. |
