PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding structure of an energy absorption member capable of inhibiting crushing of the fiber-reinforced resin-made energy absorption member from the rear end side in which the input of a collision load is not scheduled in occurrence of vehicle collision.SOLUTION: A holding structure of an energy absorption member comprises: a fiber-reinforced resin-made cylindrical energy absorption member collapsed in an axial direction at collision load inputting to absorb a collision energy; a contact part contacting the end part of a side opposite to a load input scheduled side; and a rise-up part which is raised from the contact part toward the load input scheduled side and in which at least a part is joined to the inner or outer peripheral surface of the energy absorption member. The distance between the rise-up part in the end part and the energy absorption member is longer than that between the rise-up part of the collision load input side and the energy absorption member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
