PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an atomic watch with an antenna capable of reducing the radio wave reception time and suppressing the power consumption, by minimizing the travel of a needle to a position that does not disturb the radio wave reception sensitivity when it receives the radio wave.SOLUTION: The atomic watch includes a needle 112, an information display unit 160, an antenna 120, and a driving circuit for driving the needle 112. Needle evacuation regions 200a and 200b for the needle 112 are disposed on mutually opposite sides with reference to the center line P interconnecting radiation ends 121 and 122 of the antenna 120. The driving circuit, in receiving radio wave, rotates the needle 112 so that the needle 112 moves to one region closer to it, of the needle evacuation regions 200a and 200b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
