PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device capable of installing a rope brake without being restricted by a model of the elevator device and a machine room.SOLUTION: An elevator device includes: car guide rails 4a and 4b for guiding a car 2; weight guide rails 5a and 5b for guiding a counterweight 3; a rope 6 for connecting the car 2 and the counterweight 3; a motor 10 for rotationally driving a hoist 9 which moves the rope 6; a braking device 11 for braking the motor 10 when the car 2 arrives at a predetermined floor; a rope brake 20 for braking the motor 10 by operating the braking device 11, and preventing the movement of the rope 6 when the car 2 travels in a state where a door of the car 2 is open, or while the door is open; and a rope bake attachment device 18 for attaching the rope brake 20 to specific guide rails, for example, the weight guide rails 5a and 5b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
