SHOCKPROOF CORED PACKAGING MATERIAL GG-. Consists of a core in zigzag form fitted outside with a smooth layer which is yielding over the whole projection surface of the core, i.e. can yield right into the spaces between the zigzag crests. The layer absorbs transport impact or other shocks without damaging the structure of the material as a whole. Used for packing fragile goods such as bottles.
