Portable self-contained ultrasonic doppler device including transmitting and receiving transducer means carried by a support structure, speaker means and electronic doppler circuitry connected to the transducer means and the speaker means, all mounted in a common housing. Attenuation means are provided between the housing and the speaker means and the support structure for attenuating transmission of audio frequency waves from the speaker to the transducer means and to minimize feedback effects.
