PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the cooling water from staying to a cooling water supply header or a cooling water discharge heater and avoid degradation of electric insulation generated by the staying so as to enable stable operation over a long period of time. SOLUTION: In this power generator where cooling water to be supplied from a cooling water supply tube 5 is guided to a cooling water supply header 4, after which the water is diverged and fed to a cooling tube 2a of plural cooling plates 2 interposed in a fuel cell block 1, and the cooling water to be discharged from the cooling tube 2a is joined at a cooling water discharge header 6 and is discharged from a cooling water discharge tube 7, a water supply header bypass tube 7 provided with a flow rate adjustment valve 11 is incorporated between the cooling water supply tube 5 and a lower end of the cooling water supply header 4, a water discharge header bypass tube 10 provided with a flow rate adjustment valve 12 is incorporated between a lower end of a cooling water discharge header 6 and the cooling water discharge tube 7, and a very small amount of cooling water is let flow in each pipe. |
