PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk which is equipped with projections for protection on the read-out surface thereof and is simultaneously designed to prevent the generation of double refractivity and warpage, etc., due to strains in a disk substrate. SOLUTION: The optical disk 10 is constituted so that areas except a recording layer of the substrate 11 are provided with at least three projections 13 for protection by applying an ultraviolet-curing type resin in the optical disk 10 including the disk substrate 11 equipped with a hole 11a for clamping and the recording layer 12 formed so as to have a gap to a clamping zone in a region between the clamping zone 11b at the periphery of the center hole 11a and a signal area 11c on the surface of the disk substrate. |
