PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the multi-function peripheral equipment that reactivates a printer operation through a quick return processing when a cover is closed. SOLUTION: A FAX task realizing a facsimile function and a printer task realizing a print function are processed in parallel in time division by multi-task processing. The FAX task conducts a key processing (S1) where transmission or the like of facsimile data via a telephone line is conducted by key operation or the like, a processing (S2) where facsimile data received via the telephone line are outputted to a printer section or the like, and an error restoration processing (S3) that includes preparation processing to start the printer operation. The printer task conducts a processing (S4) that prints out data sent from a PC or data of FAX reception and an error restoration processing (S5) similarly to the FAX task. Moreover, the open/close state of the main body cover is detected through timer interrupt processing and the error restoration processing when the cover is open/closed is executed by both the FAX and printer tasks. |
