<p>The semi-automatic turnover system for refilling shelves in self-service stores consists in packing the goods in standard unit packages (1, 6) and then supplying these packages in multiples for storage in the stock room from where the individual unit package can be placed on the sales shelves as required. The unit packages are pref. designed so that they can be conveyed to the sales shelves by suitable transport means without any contact although at the shelves the goods can be removed individually without any wasted packages. This is ensured since the packages automatically move to the front in succession so that dated packages are removed in order avoiding old stock being left at the back.</p> |
