Object holding device, especially for aquarium accessories using one or more pneumatic suckers (6), which are supported so that they can move axially on the object (2) or its housing. A spring (9) is fitted to the sucker (5) and acts towards the object. The sucker (6) is arranged in a recess (3) of the object (2) such that its edges lie in the outerface of the object. The recess is cone-shaped and the sucker (6) has a rearwards extending extension (5) which serves for its axial displacement. The extension passes through the wall of the object (2) and the spring acts or the end of the extension (5) inside the object.
