The driving seat for a fork-lift truck has a base frame, and an adjustable back which moves on a horizontal axis. The tilt of the back can be freely regulated by means of a series of lever-operated links with springs activated by the displacement of the driver's weight. The springs can be reinforced to suit the driver's weight. The back is raised in the middle to form a thin support for the driver's spine. The cushioning of the seat and/or back are correctly suited to the body. The seat is hinged on slide pieces in the base frame, and the under surface of the seat has shock absorbers. |
