In connection with a process for casting vanished wax, a suction piece 3 has been used which promotes the filling of a rubber wax model mould and is connected to the rubber mould such that from the model chamber 6 a narrow passage 7 leads to the suction piece and onwards via the duct 9 to a vacuum pump. Present in the suction piece is a valve 14, by means of which the connection from the model chamber of the rubber mould via the duct to the vacuum pump is shut off. Connected to the valve spindle of the suction piece is a spring 17, which keeps the duct leading from the model chamber to the vacuum pump open. Also connected to the valve spindle of the suction piece is a projection, which, as the wax is injected, is pressed against the stop 15 of the wax injector such that it shuts off the valve of the duct leading to the vacuum pump. <IMAGE>
